「Wow! Where to start..? What a stunning place to stay! I wish we had stayed longer! The welcome was lovely our room was amazing! Absolutely beautiful. Breakfast was so good, typically Scottish & a real treat! We went to the sea at Lunan Bay which is literally a 5min drive past the property - this area was gorgeous. Huge sand dunes but a beautiful stretch of beach, peaceful and calm. We will definitely be back! Highly recommended. Thank you for looking after us so well. 」

「The hotel is easy to find with plenty of parking. Check in was quick and the girl who showed me to the room was very polite and friendly. The room is big enough for what I needed, although maybe a little dated and the only thing I would really say that was a negative is the room was cold. 「We enjoyed our stay in this very old and rustic castle! Robbie was super friendly and very knowledgeable about all the history! We learned alot from him! Thank you for the tour! Loved the castle its self and the grounds. Location was fantastic! Minutes walk down to the beach! 」

「I loved the Ship Inn. The staff were very helpful. The room was perfect for what I was looking for. It was walkable from the train station. It was convenient to walk to Dunnottar Castle. I went out early to run and felt safe. The locals were friendly. Lots of cute little restaurants and cafes. The Ship Inn restaurant was very good. I would stay again.」

「Nice friendly indepedant guest house. Some rooms are non ensuite. I've used both ensuite and non ensuite and no issues Good value for money, friendly and a good breakfast. For the price there's nothing to dislike. Internet is pretty good for working, along with desk space. For me it ticks all the boxes.」

「Lovely night away, room was on small side and was a bit tired but very clean. Nice toiletries and a jar of sweeties was a lovely touch on the tea tray. Comfortable bed and loved the lift, old fashioned but it worked, great to have in the Hotel. Breakfast was really good as was the lovely staff. Will go back.again as it has been decorated in most places and looks so lovely outside. 」
