「Amazing cliff top sea views gorgeous empty beach. Quirky accommodation with all you need for a short stay. Host was a very friendly and helpful guy. We went by train but a car would be beneficial as although not far from the village it's a little remote with unlit dirt tracks probably ok in summer but not recommended coming home from the village pub in the dark. 「Absolutely loved this quirky castle. The owners was so friendly and welcoming. Very knowledgeable about the castles history and did a personal tour which I loved. His love for the property showed so much in this tour. Breakfast was delicious and left nothing to ask for. Would stay here again. No complaints. 」

「Although only 10 minutes from Stonehaven it was ideally situated in the beautiful Kincardine countryside. Room was very clean and tidy. Breakfast was whatever you wanted and the bonus for us was that the plum tree in the garden was groaning with fruit. Owner picked some delicious plums for us. If we're back in the area well certainly consider Crawfield Grange as the #1 place to stay. 」

「Lovely atmosphere, the hotel has been very stylishly decorated with a mixture of periods of furniture. The staff were all very welcoming and made us feel very relaxed as soon as we arrived. The head waiter is a fantastic character and was kind enough to give my wife a rose when we sat down for an amazing dinner. He also seated us for breakfast and was very friendly and helpful. All in all a wonderful weekend away and we are both considering a trip back in the summer to enjoy the outside eating...
