"What a great place to stay. We travelled with 2 adults and our 17 & 15 year old kids and everyone loved it, and were sad when it was tying to go. The only thing I would change is we stayed in the Monteverde house and the trees about the main suite hit the roof all night when it was windy, but not a big deal at all! Highly recommend!!"

"Gorgeous grounds and view. Comfortable beds. Great have a kitchen. The water in the shower was terrible! Suddenly it would be ice cold then suddenly blistering hot. We both hated that, but otherwise the apartment was perfect. The housekeeper was awesome!"

Nice cozy bed, smart TV, kitchen (microwave, 2 ring stove, fridge, sink, pots, pans, cutlery, cutting board, and such), bathroom, and sitting area both inside and outside. What makes this accommodation special is the family thatt run it. Melissa is at the front desk 12 hours a day, and she speaks fluent English and is extremely helpful. "We had the best time for our honeymoon at Hotel Belmar! They treated us whenever they could. The staff were so friendly and helpful at every turn and every member of staff seemed to know everyone's name. We took advantage of the onsite experiences by having a couple's massage, doing the night walk, swimming in the lake, using the whirlpool, free beer tasting and excellent food from the restaurant."

Fabulous

"Stayed for 2 nights. Buffet style breakfast which was excellent. Fantastic pool and grounds. Staff excellent. Some lovely restaurants in Monteverde but not an easy walk if you have any mobility issues. We loved it. Also 5 minute walk to the “ficus tree”. Would recommend doing the San Juan, sugar cane, chocolate and coffee tour and the hanging bridges."
