「Great location with great staff. Food very good but pricey. No elevators which is not ideal when you’re on the 4th floor with a big bag. Rooms were freezing cold when we got there although they did warm up eventually. Could only stand up on one side of the room due to the ceiling slope. Overall a good stay with a few surprises. 」

「Comfortable rooms. The bed was slightly uncomfortable but not awful. The staff was friendly and polite. The food in their dinner restaurant was very good. I had the goat pie and it was delicious. Breakfast was very good and the wait staff was super helpful. Would absolutely stay again. 」

「We only spent two nights here. Room is nice and large, many windows for breezes and a larger bathroom. Bathroom needs a window covering, but nicely set up and the staff/owners/managers are great. Really nice location. 」

「Lovely big comfortable bedrooms, a cosy library and the conservatory for meals had the best views. The pool area and spa helped make our stay memorable. The hotel had an old fashioned charm but was warm and well looked after. I’d recommend the hotel to anyone travelling to the area. 」
