My friend and I stayed at Arrive for 4 days. This hotel reminded me of a Motel 8 that had a facelift making it Instagram friendly, but not perfectly user friendly. The pool, fire pit, bedding, towels, robes and in room radio were all nice touches. That being said, it is located across the street from a park, which is inhabited by homeless. The room isn't insulated at all, so not only can you hear the sirens, helicopters, loud street cars, but you can also clearly hear the concert hall a half block away and the screams and cheering of the people attending. There is apparently not a noise ordinance in Albuquerque! However, as we visited the local dining and a speakeasy, we were told that the noise was the least of the concern. "We were lucky we hadn't been shot at or shanked". That being said, we did not go out after 9:00pm.
The employees at Arrive gave tried hard. Texting was fine with us, but please note, my parent's would NOT do this. We requested an additional blanket and received it with a discount for breakfast at the restaurant. We asked if we could get coffee delivered one morning, as there was not a coffee maker in the room as advertised, and we were told No. We were pleasantly surprised with coffee delivery in 20 minutes. We requested Ice each day, as there is not a public ice maker. We also requested housekeeping twice, which was overlooked the first day, and then did get cleaned late in the day, apologetically and by all the staff available it seemed!
