「We loved the nature around Trogon Lodge. The landscaping was amazing, and my son loved watching the trout in the pond. We loved all the birds and the hiking trails. The grounds of Trogon Lodge were so lush and beautiful, and photos cannot capture their enchanting beauty. For people with mobility issues, be aware that the lodge is a steep slope and could be difficult for some. Also, it is advisable to pack wisely so you don't bring unnecessary luggage up to the room, as it is a trek carrying it. 」

「This property consists of 3 relatively new cabins located inside a secure gate beside to the main road that circles the beautiful Orosí valley. The cabins are surrounded by greenery including a giant stand of bamboo and orange trees from the family’s orchard, which smell delightful! The road is quite busy during the day but very quiet at night and we had no difficulty sleeping. The cabins themselves block most of the outside sound. There was plentiful hot water for the shower from the rooftop...

「Fantastic location with incredible views. Cabinas are large and comfortable. The nights are cold so plan accordingly! But they do supply warm sweatshirts, jackets, and extra blankets. Breakfast was simple but good. Staff was very helpful and friendly. The proximity to Irazu Volcano cannot be beat!」
