"This is a pleasant, clean, quiet property but it was also disappointing. I mistakenly left my driver's license and they sent me a note shortly after I left saying they had found it. Fine. I sent a mail address right away but that was several days ago and they have never answered my repeated question about whether they have mailed it. I have no idea whether I will ever see it again. Their website says you can take the public bus and the driver will drop you off right at their front door. This...

"You can't go wrong with the Arciduca! The place feels like your own personal villa in the heart of Lipari. Great lunch and dining options! The rooms are convenient and beautiful. Service is outstanding. Highly recommended."

"Terrific rooms, each with a large outdoor terrace. Very charming. Impressive service. I had to leave an hour before normal breakfast serving hours so the fine gentleman met me in the breakfast room at 630 am and served me a cappuccino and cake and fruit to get me on my way. I hope to come back and stay a week. Fabulous views. The Only downside: its a mile from the ferry terminal and the town center. A pleasant walk once you take a taxi with your bags."
