「Great location. The bed was rather hard and we didn’t get much sleep as we could not get comfortable. It didn’t do my back any good. Bedroom and bathroom spotless, no complaints. I think they need more staff as when we checked in and out no one was on reception. I had to go and find them in the kitchen. It was the same at breakfast. 「The hotel actually has two sections on two sides of the bridge. We were expecting to be on the water side but was disappointed. The room only has a small window facing the back of the hotel. Nothing impressive at all. The staffs were not helpful on anything. We were asked by the front desk to go across the bridge to make booking at the hotel restaurant. 」

「Nice place for a short stay. Staff were great. My Sisters check in took along time, well past 3pm. Still not checked in by tea time. Only down side was no electrical power points nxt to bed. I had to run extension cables which could of caused an accident getting up in the middle of the night.」

「Good, solid place. It really is a monastery with large grounds and impressive buildings. Welcome was very friendly and helpful. The property is dated, but in fairly good order. Bed was good. Breakfast was cereal and toast type. I was hoping for full breakfast but was not offered. Mirfield also a nice town/village, just avoid school closing time as very busy」

「Privately-owned, and service reflects this. Staff are extremely friendly and efficient throughout. The restaurant is first class, with an exciting menu, and the food was very good indeed.
