"We were at Skamania Lodge for a wedding celebration. I had never been to the Pacific Northwest before. The views were spectacular and your staff couldn't be more accommodating. I was curious as to the history and formation of the Columbia Gorge and one of your young men gave me a number of books about the area. Upon arriving your front desk staff changed our room so we would could the beautiful scenery out of our window. The staff was wonderful."

"Overall the hotel was charming, however the staff were not warm, it felt like I was bothering them when I needed something. For example, when I checked in, I was supposed to get a wine tasting voucher for a nearby winery and they did not give it to me. I had to come in and inquire about it later. The worst was the parking situation. The hotel does not have its own parking area and you have to find your own and pay. The hotel is cute and charming. The staff need to work on customer service...

"The cabin had some quirks about. It must’ve been on an ant hill, as there was an extreme issue with ants. Cleanliness was less than desirable cobwebs everywhere dirty fan, not kept horribly as your toilets and areas were clean, but the overall cleanliness of the place was not desirable."

"Interesting experience. There is no on-site staff, but the building is in excellent (restored) condition. You let yourself in with the door code and then you’re on your own. The on-site restaurant is not operating, so we drove a couple miles for dinner. We made breakfast from what was on site. Thankfully there was no noise from the railroad outside. We’ll be back."
