「This property had many things that we liked: the room was beautiful with a fireplace; it was conveniently located near the recreation path; walkable distance to good restaurants; good breakfast in the morning; nice physical fitness options, including an indoor racquet court. Lots of reasons to love this hotel. Noticed that the manager was very present during breakfast time, giving information, nice attention to customers. I would return. 」

「The place is beautiful with a personal touch everywhere. Breakfast was delicious with 4 different homemade breads, fresh fruit, homemade jams and so many other options. Coffre near fireplace and relaxing music in the morning set the mood for the day. Everyone was very helpful and friendly. Bed was very comfortable and room was big and clean. The only downside was that the hot tub was occupied by large company of people drinking beer there for hours so other skiers were not able to enjoy it...

「Stay was great! We went up for skiing weekend at Stowe Mountain. The room was clean and very comfortable. The lodge/bar room was really cool and chill. The pool and hot tub area could use a little up grade. The property was great and we would come back. 」

「Butler House speaks of itself: a house with the amazing management of a great butler - the result of the dedication of the owner, Paul and his wife. Paul was so friendly and though he was always busy at the breakfast room, he always checked if we needed help Our room was spacious, clean and tidy and offered everything we need.The kitchen is big and we enjoyed cooking there. 「We had a wonderful one night stay at the Brass Lantern. Don greeted me when I arrived and showed me the common areas before showing me to our room. The room was very comfortable and clean. The common areas in the living rooms and game room were very comfortable. The breakfast was delicious. The hotel is a short walk to the village center in Stowe and the recreational trail and about a 15 minute drive to the ski slopes. The next time we visit Stowe we will definitely stay here.」

「Stowe is firmly implanted in my brain as an amazing place to visit, and the Timberholm plays a big part of this. Just a few minutes drive outside of the town centre, it's easily accessible and yet far away enough that it feels secluded and peaceful. What a gorgeous lodge too, with all kinds of activities and a huge fireplace with roaring flames if you just want to chill. 「The property is old and quirky which we enjoyed. There is lovely scenery and enjoyable walks on the doorstep. Food in the restaurant was good although options were limited as it was the last evening before a seasonal closure.」
