「At first we didn't think the aircon didn't work but we were wrong we just needed the brick walls surrounding the room to cool down once this happened the aircon worked much better so thankyou. The Wi Fi still wasn't strong enough but everyone just uses their phones these days anyway.」

「It’s work in progress, but some renovations are evident, even in rooms as yet to be completed. Our room was clean and the bed was comfortable. Shower was great (even though bathroom not updated yet). Right in the middle of town. Walk to everything. Owner was great at check in, explaining future developments. Pool has been upgraded. Definitely recommend and we will stay again.」

「We had the Studio which supplied all we needed for one night. Had to drive to Tavern for Dinner but that really was nit an issue. Very peaceful. 」

「Great location to stay when in Young. Close to everything (shops, cafes, pubs) and easy to park and walk to where you want to be. Cabins were clean, tidy, quiet and comfortable.」

「Historic hotel with 5 fireplaces, superb food, timber bar and just generally a nice family feel, Electric blankets are very warm, sheets crisp and towels very white. Simple breakfast included with nice balconies and north side garden. Went for a short 5 min walk and saw ten kangaroos, Took a great photo of the hotel from the front.but no way to share here. Hope the front balcony damagefrom the wayward car is fixed soon. Finally, we stayed at Royal Capertee on our way to visit the oil shale...

「Great location, awesome food and terrific staff. Not a place to stay if you need sleep. Band was staying here and carried on outside my room until 3:30am , then the staff put music on downstairs at 7am. I think I got 3 hours sleep. Stayed 2 of my 3 nights , left early and had to book another place to get some rest. Happy to have another meal here but will never stay here again. 」

「Very shabby. Extremely noisy fridge. Walls so thin could hear neighbour snoring. Too much light through curtains, very cluttered room. All over standard dropped from previous stays. Won’t stay again. 」

「We booked this as only accommodation we could get for a touch tournament in Mudgee. Unfortunately we did not get to enjoy the serenity and of the accommodations to its fullest. i would love to go back and be able to enjoy the facilities that are provided. Ideal getaway for couples or group of friends. will definitely return.」
