I recently stayed at the JW Marriott Kuala Lumpur, and it exceeded my expectations in many ways. The rooms are superb—spacious, elegantly decorated, and equipped with all the modern amenities you would expect from a top-tier hotel. The comfort of the bed and the quality of the in-room facilities made my stay extremely pleasant. The spa and other facilities at JW Marriott KL are also top-notch. The spa offers a serene escape from the bustling city, with a range of treatments that leave you feeling rejuvenated. The fitness center is well-equipped, and the pool area provides a great spot to relax and unwind. One of the major advantages of staying at JW Marriott KL is its location. Situated right in the heart of Bukit Bintang, it offers unparalleled convenience. Entertainment, dining, and shopping options are abundant and just steps away from the hotel. Whether you're looking to explore vibrant street food scenes or indulge in fine dining, you’ll find everything within easy reach. However, one area that could use improvement is the check-in process. Being a 5 star hotel, check in service was bad. Arrived at hotel around 2:30 pm, room not ready. Told us to wait and called my mobile when ready. At 3:30pm, we received no call and went to check in counter to enquire room status. The one who handled our request took our message and then disappeared, He pretended to work on other things. The other guy then handled us still saying room not available. Asked to change room as we needed to get change and go out. We were told to have one with connecting door (still just a king sze bed room). When we entered the room, it was smaller than expected. Our booking is 40sq m or 430 sq ft room with king sized bed. Our estimation based on the tiles was around 300 sq ft. Hotel said all these rooms were 40sq m. Obviously it is cheating. Lift service was also slow. Far below our expectation for JE Marriott.
