「Loved this place and would stay again without hesitation. Quiet location (on a light industrial estate to almost zero overnight traffic) and close to A26. Staff were super helpful and it has a small modern restaurant area offering a limited evening meal menu. Portions were generous and it was excellent value. The buffet breakfast choice was huge and all of it good quality - including a few things normally associated with 'full english' in recognition that it's just 60 miles from Calais and a lot...

「Great location near to the train station so was easy to locate. Staff were very friendly and helpful with any queries which arose. Rooms were clean and tidy, shower decent. Wasn’t a huge amount of noise which was a positive. Breakfast had a decent mix of drinks, fruit, cereals, cold meats which helped start the day.」

「Hotel l'Univers is a fine old grand hotel. Our room was satisfactory, good beds and bedding, fine bathroom/shower room. Great buffet breakfast. Staff were very helpful and friendly. Very well located in central area, close to darn near everything. I would stay there again.」

Notre chambre donnait sur le stationnement directement au dessus de l’entrée et l’odeur entrait par notre fenetre ouverte car il faisait très chaud dans la chambre la clim etant inefficace. 」

「Hotel is currently being renovated but the main building has been completed and the rooms are very well presented. We arrived several hours early but this was not a problem and we were shown straight to our room. Attached to the hotel is a really nice restaurant with an excellent menu. The only may be limited parking, especially when the renovations are completed. 」

「This property is perfect for those wanting to see the town of Vimy as well as taking in the Memorial on Vimy Ridge. It is fairly close to the monument and if you are up for a walk it can be reached within 45 minutes to an hour. Before we went on our way we were served a wonderful breakfast. Certainly not a commercial hotel by any means but it offered an unique expierence that was exactly as advertised. Thouroughly pleased with our stay. 」
