「This property is very close to Calaveras Big Trees State Park and that is why we stayed here. It was very clean, and the woman checking us in was friendly. We stayed two nights. We ate across the street at a brewery the first night and at an Italian restaurant the second night. The Italian restaurant, Sarafina's, was excellent. 」

「We had the best stay at the Courtyard Inn! When I booked I didn’t realize it was a bed and breakfast and only had 5 rooms. It was amazingly quiet inside and out. We sat on the balcony at night and just relaxed in the peace and quiet of nature. A homemade breakfast was served each morning, and the host also made a homemade cake and brownies while we were there. 」

「Wonderful building. The room was better than expected. The balcony was lovely. There is a terrific dining room and a library with a fireplace in the winter. Lots of cool books to browse through. We had a delicious breakfast on the porch the wondered around the gardens. Great place for weddings and other gatherings. The town of Murphy's was a delight. All the action is just a few doors down.」
